Just what does he hope to accomplish? He's up against the most powerful being in the universe. He has absolutely no chance of winning. it has piqued my interest. though im a total pseud. ive only really read easy authors like McCarthy, Hemingway, the easier Joyce books, Wilde, Faulkner, Kafka. I just started the odyssey and it's enjoyable. I haven't read the bible and I know nothing about poetry. what books should i read to build up to PL so i can enjoy it and appreciate it for what it is? thanks im a total brainlet
