Having a sense of impermanence actually makes happy moments more common, not less. By understanding how totally unique every waking moment of your life is, and how the moment we live in will come to pass, you start to entertain the idea of letting go of it and accepting what it is rather than trying to live forever. Apollo and Krishna are qties, even if they're a fantasy. Guanyin too if we're counting boddhisattvas, 'cause empathy's a hell of a drug. The whole chain of events that lead to Amaterasu and Susano'o fighting are cool too.

False dichotomy, my negroid-imitating friend: biological reproduction (women, children) is not functionally different from other types of reproduction (like fame): they all serve as a disregardal of Death, because most people lack the mental fortitude (or so they think) to face it.

I however, care mostly for my own pleasure, and so write because it's pleasurable to me first and foremost. Fame and pussy would not be bad, although they could get distracting, but they're not really a necessity.
