Schopenhauer’s life is hilarious. His hatred of his mother, his utter despair at having to work a job when he was younger, getting cucked by Hegel when he started teaching at universities, the fact that he beat the shit out of a woman in his apartment building and had to pay restitution to her for years and then quietly celebrated when she died, that he had a correspondence with Goethe when he was younger but then Goethe cut him off because he noticed he was such an arrogant prick, that he entered an essay contest and actually lost despite being the only person who submitted an essay and then spent 20 years shitting on the institute for rejecting him
