/lit/ - Literature

This board seems to go through cycles were certain authors are talked about a lot, before all discussion of them vanishes, only for the authors to become topical discussion again spontaneously a few months. We are currently in the cycle of Nietzsche. I can't wait until this board starts to talk about Cormac McCarthy again. Couldn't get into Blood Meridian, but I'm hoping to pick up a physical copy of it next week which usually helps me read a book all the way through. No one reads Nietzsche, and the people that do read him don't obsess over him as much as the people that haven't read him. Much of what Nietzsche wrote can be found in other authors like Emerson, Thoreau, Jung, and Wagner to name a few.
