currently reading Use of Weapons and enjoying it. I like the gimmick of half the chapters being chronological and the other half chronologically backwards.
I also liked Player of Games. Consider Phlebas was a bit meh.

any experiences about the other Culture books? which ones to read, which ones to avoid?
