Sounds like your diary desu, and the diary of most people here. That isn't to say it can't be well done. But most likely its going to end up being too biased in the favor of portraying this kid as an absolute victim to his circumstances. Which just isn't fun to read, and not nuanced. Thus not fully genuine.

>T.from a guy who wrote a novel last year with a similar premise and it turned out absolute shit in the ways I've described

Gee, a well-constructed, deeply philosophical and insightful religious epic, or a slog about rich shallow people having parties in ballrooms? Thats a really tough choice anon

The last author you read is now going to live with you and follow you around for one month. How fucked are you?

If they were dead they've been resurrected.

I am curious /lit/, do you have any specific books you read again every year? and is it in a specific time of the year? how has it improved with time?
I first read Ulysses couple years ago, started on the middle of December and finished mid January and it was very nice, ever since then I've been re-reading on December, and this year I read Finnegans and intend to start re-reading it every year, starting right now. As December is upon us, I got curious about you, friends.
Although its only been a couple years, when I read some parts of it, like Nausicaa, which is one of my favorite chapters, and remember the first time reading it it seems like it was a decade ago and the second time reading it I was able to actually enjoy chapters like Oxen of the Sun, which felt like a slough the first time.

He was a schizophrenic tripfag who would post daily threads with a picture of the gas station he worked at (OP's picture). He was writing a really long book in the meanwhile. Eventually he started going off the hooks more and more and would stream himself walking endlessly around his town and painting erratic abstract art. The last he posted was around 2016 I believe.
