am i a brainlet if i engage with art on a purely aesthetic level now
i've stopped trying to actively look for meaning and symbolism altogether
what's wrong with me?

i dropped out of university because i'm a strung out psych fried mess with no self dicipline
my mind is starved and vacuous from rampant oxy and ketamine abuse
i haven't read anything in six months and my thoughts are two dimensional

where do i go from here?
i want to educate myself yet i feel a crippling sense of ineptitude
