Go learn some church history to get the gist of influential movements and what kind of impact they've had in history and then compare this with how Christianity had been traditionally practiced since the earliest centuries to most of history. This could help give you a better sense of direction.

Personally I think people are capable of finding spiritual fulfillment in a variety of places even if they aren't the most authentic or ideal based on the fact that there have been many people who were able to devote their lives to their belief of choice and do so faithfully for a likley significant reason.

First of all, don't assume that a denomination is right for you, and that you have to pick one. You should practice your religion exactly how you believe it should be practiced.
Do not make concessions to fit in.
Do not tie yourself to a set of beliefs which deviates from your own.
Remember Christ's words against hypocrisy.

Anyway, here's the Christian /lit/ chart.

How cope with the fact you won't even scratch the surface of human knowledge within your lifetime?

I am currently not religious and I'm intrigued by the Orthodox Church and it's teachings, so, is there a 'reading list' (like pic related) that I should follow once I read the Bible (OSB)?
