Which translation of the Baghavad Gita would you recommend to a newcomer who knows little to nothing about Hinduism? Pic related seems to be the standard recommendation, and he has a translation of the Upanishads as well which I might end up reading after the Gita, but I've seen many detractors of this translator despite the apparent consensus being in his favor. What would you guys suggest?
