The Murderbot Diaries #0-4 (novellas, 5th upcoming)
A full-body cyborg breaks free of their behavioral restrictions and is able to decide their own life in galactic society that almost exclusively regards them as something that ought to be destroyed immediately without the slightest consideration. What will they choose to do?

I found the second through forth to be much better than the first. There's a fair bit of comedy, parody, and satire along with the action and slice-of-lice.

Overall: 5/5
/sffg/ opinions diverge about the first novella, though those that read the second novella rated them highly.

I've read two great short stories and a novella so far.

Fandom for Robots by Vina Jie-Min Prasad was great
Welcome to Your Authentic Indian Experience TM by Rebecca Roanhorse won but I didn't like it...
Utopia, LOL? by Jamie Wahls was pretty good too.

Martha Well's All Systems Red Murderbot novella won and was hilarious. I devoured it and the sequel. Now I have to wait a few months for the next one to be released...

Anything else like this out there? Robot just trying to lie low and not have anybody find out it's slipped it's leash?

This was pretty good. I suspect it might be the next big "Martian" style thing that will get non-SFF market penetration.
