Humans are the only species that have no clear ancestor. Every other species can be traced from the very fist life forms that evolved from complex molecules. So I just found out that the Shankill Butchers were real people. I heard about them first in the eponymous Decemberists song. Has anyone else had that happen, where you learn about something, thinking that it's fictional, only to learn that it was/is real?
