Can /lit/ direct me towards some basic ethicists who wrote about political theory?

I'm only getting into this now so so far I only know Nozick, who writes from a libertarian perspective and G. A. Cohen who writes from a Marxist one.

John Rawls' influence extended out of the cloisters of academia; he was a regular at the White House during the Clinton Presidency, he's one of the most influential political theorists of the late 20th Century.

Anyone who's studied political science (in any of its guises) will know this, regardless of their personal opinion of him.
