Are there any books on the topic of reincarnation, rebirth (in the proper buddhist sense), transmigration of the soul etc.?
Im looking for anything on the topic, from philosophy, metaphysics, to case studies of evidence on it.

Do you make notes when reading? If so, how do you make them? In a notepad, or on the PC?
I make notes on the computer, mostly summarizing notes or if i see something interesting in a book that i wish to not forget.

If you write in the book itself, then i hope you die.

Hey /lit/, this might be a weird question, but ive become intrigued with the concept of pain and suffering as positive forces.
Basically, in initiation rites, people who have to suffer/endure more to pass, tend to be far more loyal to that particular organization than those who had to do very little to get into it. People who have to suffer a lot together tend to form stronger bonds than people who dont.

This psychological phenomenon fascinates me, and im really curious on whether people have written about it more.

Croc brains just operate on "snap on" and "snap off" and they dont even register whether they can actually eat whatever they snapped

>Law that says "Do not kill/murder" also has rules that order the execution of people who break certain rules
Gee i wonder which interpretation is the correct one.
