I agree, and often it's both parties being shitty. There's a delicate balance to forgiving without being a doormat. There is a higher kind of forgiveness, where you realize people's limitations and try to help them even though technically you don't "have" to.

You're clearly not put any attention why some crappy isekai or anime becomes extremelly popular.

Look harry potter, same deal, most kids wanted to self insert into harry and live a life where the loser (the kid that self inserts) lives an amazing adventure who saves the world and has real friends.

I'm not saying making such stories are wrong, but the fact is that the average person reads fiction is to self insert and live in his imagination a cool live so they can forget they're miserable npcs with a mediocre wagecuck life with mediocre real life problems.

At least making a novel to tap into this is less morally wrong than trying to sell rich quick schemes or ponzi schemes or MLM cults.
