Recommend books that will make good Christmas gifts, I demand it.
Anything interesting/fun/charming.

I was thinking about buying :
- a book on origami for the whole family.
- some compilation of philosophical essays from Einstein or Schrodinger for my 18yo brother who's kinda into physics
- something about animals or learning to draw for a 13yo girl who's a friend of the family. The only thing I know about her is that she likes Miyazaki and we've watched some nature documentary together and she really liked them
- another book from John Williams for my dad cause he liked Stoner

Other than that I don't really know. I'd like to find good books that teaches you interesting and/or practical stuff, e.g. origami, papercraft, drawing, recognizing plants/mushrooms, history of cinema, etc.

So yeah, any ideas? What books will you offer to your family or friends?

I need to write an entire chapter (not exactly) of fiction (not limited to science fiction or fantasy) until wednesday and all I've wrote ever was only a small description of how my afternoon was.

Men harness strength through conditioning and power through action. Society is the trickle down of power along lines of family and alliance. Life will never be "fair", because the strong grow stronger and the weak remain weak.
