For as long as I hated you there was no loss. For as long as I hated you, you weren't really human. You weren't, you're right. I wasn't either. I remember the moment when I realized I wasn't. But you were still important to me, in ways that were wholly fucked up, as I have been to you I'm sure.

Let's talk about the most famous piece of literature of all time, the Bible. The lore in it is quite interesting:
>It is believed by everyone that the Bible was written by humans who received "enlightenment" from God
>Humans, according to Christianity, have free will to do whatever they want thanks to God
>Which means they had free will to include false information if they so desired
Could someone explain why anyone gives a shit? Paul the Apostle could have easily been a heretic for all we know who came up with a bunch of lies.

According to >>19031775 this doesn't actually seem to be perfectly cut-and-dry either, anon. That fact is that the sexual orientation exists. ... Perhaps its only been normalized now that its far less of a health risk and society can withstand this normalization.

Thanks a ton, anon! I'll be checking that out! I was under the misassumption that they did have to be beneficial (although, I was dimly aware mine was moreso a brainlets conception).

it's fucking over man I can't work any more now. I got irons in the fire I need to watch. it's a shame in a way, I fall behind on everything but there's not much to do. I might be losing my mind desu, but I've felt that way for over a month now and I keep not losing it. It is not in order to rest that I pause my work. it's just that there are so many ghosts flying around that it is hopeless to try. I'm hungry too.

"the definition of a thing and the proof of its existence are two different and eternally separate things, since through the one we experience what is meant, but through the other that such a thing exists. 'since being is not genus, it is not the essence of anything.' That means 'existence' can never belong to essence; being can never belong to the essence of a thing!"

Is Shope right to conflate being with existence? Or is being a predicate of existence? Otherwise, his critique seems fairly damning. If so, why hasn't it been headed, even now?

I've been attempting to read Critique of Pure Reason but it's just too spergy. I think I'll drop it for the time being and return once I've read some background material, there's a chart or something that probably explains how to work up to it. In the meantime can someone here sum it up in a couple paragraphs?
Also, would it be a good idea to go ahead and read philosophers that position themselves in relation to Kant, such as Schopenhauer, Hegel, Land, etc?

Sure, we have the /pol/tards, the Catholics, some Orthodox, the lefty threads, Atheist threads... /lit/ is a board of peace and diversity.
