Thx, I lost the will to live without throwing the dice again and I keep trying to picture myself out of the game with an old friend, reminiscing about the book that saved me from the duel horror of being an unemployed loser with an anger problem and an fractured emotional awareness like a child capable of only watching as he is painted in a leaddotted type as well as various types of suggestive degeneracy that swirls and tapes receipts to the same effect as the more realist fashioning of him; and Faust was the book we would think about together.

There was a trade in people's diaries and accounts in the new world. It began with ships captains. The American's ate it up. It became a market that overflowed into Britain. Funny that no one seems to care about that particular history. The results have been interesting.

>divorced from reality and sometimes even catatonic.
if this were integrated into another cultures mythic worldview, they might find a solution that becomes a part of a custom and is there a driver for integration into a knowledge set which allows for quicker homeostasis or regulation, which is what you want as well as I. This is the truth.

>To echo Claudia Breger’s critique, it appears that Kittler is subscribing to the old view of
Ancient Greece as a kind of Kulturnation, a historical singularity whose
peak achievements are located in what later epochs came to call aesthetics
and culture. Second, Kittler emphasizes that many of the concepts that we
identify as high points of classical Greek philosophy are, if critically looked
at, distortions of more practical, numero-technical terms that had been
worked out by the complicity of finger, strings and multi-purpose signs. For
instance, logoi initially referred to simple musical ratios (e.g., fourth, fifth,
octave), but the term later suffered an unfortunate conceptual promotion at
the hands of Aristotle and others.

Is this wrong? Is Kittler's scientific inquires into lit base or good?

>Kittler is retracing a path cleared, among others, by Bachofen, Nietzsche and Heidegger. He too is in search of the other, earlier Greece, the Greece of yore before things went wrong, that is, before they
became all too abstract, metaphysical, and forgetful of the media in and
through which they had evolved.

Media ecology is too inclusive a title for alpha gourmands, so I'm thinking media epicureanism in the detached spirit from that of its origins, and more so of good Christian determination. That it would privilege wastrels and reward boredom with games of chance.

It's an allusion to the Shakespear junta, reconceptualizing the Fordism gag of a fantastic writer who turns out to be a part of the very same organization without knowing that he is, (the only method of becoming a member of an organization that he could abide by after the holocaust). I'm hoping to sneak a line or two in myself right before the bits turn the waste into something spectacular.

I've been thinking a lot about being gay, I was at first confused, then a denier and now... There is something about this that just makes me uneasy, like I have no idea what to believe.

What I don't understand is how people can not be doubters, or not even understanding of doubters, since most people laugh at closeted denial as stupidity. Is it not much worse to find it easy to accept? That ordinary people under abnormal circumstances would gladly beat, suck, engulf and eventually swallow millions of potential people simply because they were allowed to do it? To immediately accept being gay without resistance would be nihilistic. The most natural reaction is to see contradictions in written accounts, to find the whole thing totally unreasonable and to secretly suspect it's all propaganda.

But how can I say These Type of People didn’t really survive hell? When I read gay accounts I’m struck by how sincere some of them are, and how painful they are to read. I can’t deny or accept. I can only accept it’s possibility, and hopefully that’s enough for me to read Homosexual lit with understanding.

Mental fog = brain rewiring to passive aggressive, masochist = conditioning for increased loyalty, increased codependency.

At least they'll find out that technological determinism coupled with environmental determinism condition them only because of their acceptance of these conditions as legit ends to their needs, which arise from social pressure. Try dislodging yourself from the hierarchies that force you to the bottom and see what consequences arise from not participating. If you can defeat the negativity, you can then begin to define the hierarchy your way - to some degree, as you'll never stop being an animal in an environment competing for limited resources.

Honestly, start with the Stoics and the Greeks to understand how certain Greek/Roman moral problems mixed with Hebrew beliefs to form Christianity. There are many areas to Study before St Augustine if you plan on understanding Kierkegaard. I don't have a list handy, but 500 to 600 AD is as important as the Enlightenment and still less important then what Islamic Scholars wrote in between - though, I doubt you'll ever hear about those connections with the way these are going in the middle east.

they're literally nevou rich honey traps that help certain players hold power through certain groups, sometimes given esoteric symbolism as a method of establishing legitimacy of the group - this guaranteeing a level of privacy not gained elsewhere.

>and oh I walked along byside that white robed prince, knowing him and his position as a Saudie, and yet my eyes gazed down to his hand and the child from essan that was there, and oh I asked, should the spy agencies from around the world let such a man walk the streets so freely, should I not see into this weakness and tear from that man his will to grip, will to answer the call to prayer that from now until death shall bring my nullifing voice.

Take it one step further and call it what it really is. A byproduct of deeply divided institutional cultures competing during an era of technological growth. It is a communications problem exacerbated by think-tanks and political organizations. Just as the telegraph and railroad became essential components of the state, narrative understandings were constructed to given humans back a sense of autonomy and control that the church once gave them. None of it was planned, it just occurs when humans are in groups and shit gets a little confusing. Plus, it pays well to construct enemies, either technology or capital. I prefer humans myself, but I'm for equality, so I tend to think you're all fucked in the head and need to be watched.

All this streamlining into one thing I'm suppose to focus on forever. I don't even know what that is, so why don't I just simplify it to a focus on nothing and then continue doing that until I get bored.
