Is a common sense, but I see even popular Harem writers doing absolute shit in terms of structure, like, two sex scenes at the beginning, and one at the end. In an erotica book. Seriously, erotica writers are clueless most of the time, even the popular ones. They wouldn't recognize the concepts of proper sex scene pacing or escalation in erotic behaviour even if it kicked them right up their stupid ass.

If you want to see a good erotica book that kept appropriate amount of sex scenes and sexiness thorough the story, read 'Good Intentions.'

I'm commited to making a reading chart for self-pub harem fantasy, but I still have some books to read.Expect me to finish sometime before the year is over. I've read around ~30 so far, now I'm branching into harem/erotica written by women. (I'm the harem poster/reviewer around here).

Based. Once, I saw someone saying '"Why would you write fiction and not include your own fetishes?" and it stuck with me. That's why I'm definitely planning to write a solid harem at some point, with raw emotion, incredibly titilating scenes, fascinating women and of course monster girls. The bar in the genre is so low it's not even funny, just by writing a woman as a person and not horny hole you're already in the upper echelons of writers.

But I know, KNOW that there are extremely amazing erotic stories written by our predecessors, people who were passionate about the craft and poured all of their talent into creating incredible stories. Who were they? What did they write? It's a fringe subject, thus a space like 4chan should be closer to finding it, yet people in this thread are disappointingly shy about sharing what they know.

Wake up, erotica bros, give me your recommendations.

I still have a lot of Harem/Erotica genres to explore, but so far I particularly enjoyed:

Erogamer - A webnovel that's known for being deeper than you'd think, even after taking this statement into account. Story so outstanding in its writing, tackled issues and mastery over words that it can unironicaly be called Literature. How such thing grew out of a forum with erotic fanfics is beyond me. Accessible for free at Questionablequesting forum. But there's an epub on z-lib, probably has the entire thing.

To quote the advertisement:

Good Intentions - Not self-published and released ten years ago, so you can feel the polish. The book itself is great, probably the best female characters in the genre. It has flaws of course, like modern setting or weird side american side characters, but the story, extremely titilating erotic scenes and the demoness character are simply outsdanding. One of the best Harem/erotica book I've read so far.

Fostering Faust - It's not a great book (trillogy, actually), but a decent one. I wish the main character wasn't that mich of a Mary Sue and leaned more into his devilish deals. The story was a bit formulaic for the author, but decent enough. It has this darker edge, while most of the harems are disgustingly soapy.

Blue Core - LitRPG about a Dungeon Core that tries to exploit the combination of magic and technology to survive. Also, hentai consentacles, as it doesn't have a body, but still fucks. Pretty good, but more because of the plot and world-building that erotic fragmenets themselves.

Okay, I've been on a smut streak as of late so I can give some solid recommendations, though I don't which type of book you want:

Good Intentions - Hands down the best harem/erotic book I've read, the characters, the sex scenes, the plot...Genuinely good book all around. It's not some self-published stuff, it's from 2010~ so it's pretty polished. The only minus for you might be that the setting is in modern times of our world with fantasy elements.

Fimbulwinter - Decent book about a guy who was cheated on by his wife and then ran over by a car, then sent by a Nordic Godess into a fantasy world to protect her faithful (and beautiful) worshippers. A bit more intelligent than your average harem smut, deccent enough titilating aspects. Considered one of the best Harem books out there.

Blue Core - LitRPG with the protagonist being a Dungeon. How does he have sex then? Tentacles. Consentacles, as the readers call it. Good sex scenes, but the focus of the story is exploiting magic combined with the knowledge of science and technology, also kingdom building. Pretty good.

The Wild Wastes - Not great, but decent enough. The author is a known harem writer with a lot of books like these, with this one considering one of the better ones. Check it if you want something easy and light.

Fostering Faust - The best harem/smut trilogy writen by the author of The Wild Wastes in my opinion. Pretty good plot, somewhat psychopatic protagonist that makes binding deals for his Goddess, the more he gains from the deal the better it is. He of course uses it to have sex with women and bind them to his whims, but in much more interesting ways than you would think. Good even if you don't read it for the smut.

Hellcats - This one is pure porn. It doesn't even attempt to give a plot, just a guy hired to be a technician on a space-ship belonging to a female-only mercenary team. Turns out he's there to have sex with them. Suprisingly comfy and well-written.

Herald of Shalia - The most hilarious smut book I've seen, sometimes feels like a fever dream. Written by a woman, so female characters are much better than usually. Funny, witty, and it's about having fun by a guy who was sent to the fantasy world by an elf Goddess Shalia to protect her wroshippers. Turns out that yes, Elfs are hot as fuck.

Okay guys, I ask for recommendations for good fantasy erotica, as I've noticed that despite hundreds of different book charts existing in the linked megaupload folder, not a single one concern Erotic Fantasy or even modern Erotica. Normal Fantasy with strong erotic themes and scenes, pure erotica, harem novels, if it's good, mention it. At the moment I'm reading 'Good Intentions' (picrel), and I must say I'm suprised how damn good it is, I haven't seen something so hot and titilating in a while. I heard something about Kushel Dart being a good erotica, so that's going onto the list, so if you happened to read it, please give your rating for that. As there is no chart for Fantasy Erotica, I intend to do one myself at some point.

I repeat, I ask for FANTASY/SCI-FI EROTICA recommendations, mainly Fantasy, but Sci-fi too if it's good. I mainly intend to read books for men, but if there's good gay fantasy, either for females or males, I'm might try it as well, want to experience the breath of the genre.

Speaking of horniness, why there isn't any book chart for Fantasy Erotica? I know that harems are popular right now, but there's more than that. Just now I'm reading 'Good Intentions' and it's urban fantasy, one of the hottest and most titilating fantasy books I've read. It's seriously weird that no one has done one, even weird horror genres etc have one in the book chart folder. Do I have to make a erotica/nsfe book chart myself? I mean, it's an incentive to read even more of that, but it's weird that no one has made one so far. I'd probably do one for men, mainly (although some are more universal than simple male gaze, even read by women). Female Erotica is more mainstream, 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' etc, so a book chart for that would be just top selling books from amazon, kek.
