If it's 1 thing I hate about drama+romance stories like Wuthering Heights and Great Expectations it's the absolute lack of intelligence/objective conclusions, introspection.
The faggot writers never give a shit about any ideals and learning something from life it's always; just feel, doesn't matter for what you're feeling.

Wuthering Heights's actual life lesson - do not take in random strays which the family doesn't agree with and said stray will end up feeling attached to half the family and developing a bipolar love/hatred psychosis.

Learn to kill you idiots, those maids disgusted me as did the "happy family" also those marshes were depressing(after i've been promised beautiful forests) and the ghost and "superstitions regarding nature" didn't connect with the plot at all. Heathcliff was a massive entitled piece of shit self-insert fag which the girl and her father had no reason to love him. He was just there doing nothing and demanding free gibs for existing.

I hate how they always try to write the characters and problems through a grey zone so no one's really 100% to blame.
