Is there such a thing as actual Medieval fantasy?
No, I don't mean every single piece of sword and sorcery kings and peasants living in hovels garbage. I mean something genuinely and deeply inspired by the European Middle Ages, their religious beliefs, their philosophies, their cosmology, their occultism. Written by someone with knowledge of and love for this period in history, not just by some wikipediafag using it as an edgy setting. I desperately want this but I've been unable to find it.
