Pic related is the best reading list I've found OP, although I've been meaning to get around to making a better one. Of those books I think de Benoist's is the most important for understanding the worldview. Get the updated edition from Arcana Europa.
If you read those books then you'll know where to look further if you want. I'd recommend adding in fairy tales from around the Germanic world and general history about our people. Assuming you're Germanic yourself of course. If not then de Benoist, Nietzsche and Heidegger, and Cleary are still useful, but swap in other works of mythology and interpretation.

Alright /lit/, this weekend was the last straw, I'm tired of being a fucking degenerate. I wish to penetrate the secret of the runes and cultivate within myself the beauty of rivers and mountains.

Thoughts on this chart? Also heathenism general I guess.

Aside from Nietzsche and Heidegger, what are some other examples of a somewhat "heathen" worldview within the realm of "acceptable" high culture?
I'm very attracted to a lot of things in Germanic paganism, insofar as it's the best preserved form of the European Pagan worldview that we have (other than Homer, Hesiod and other pre-Socratic Greeks), but I must admit to having a strong prejudice against books written by /pol/ weirdos and published sketchily.
Pound maybe? D.H. Lawrence? Do you give any creedence to theories that say many Medieval authors such as Chretien de Troyes "hid" Pagan ideals and messages in their work?

Prose Edda is a decent introduction though so I think it's even less necessary to read secondary sources for the Norse books. But it doesn't hurt
