Is writing over-saturated now?

I can't help but feel everyone is writing these days, only they aren't writing novels and attempting to earn money from them. It feels demoralising.

Would you have any interest in reading a memoir of an almost-thirty-year-old virgin with no social skills or relationship experience?

I have written such a book, but feel that publishing it or attempting to attract any kind of audience would be a pointless endeavour.

Are there any novels or short stories published in the past ten years which focus on a character whose life is destroyed due to their online experience?

I think about Ciara and her suicide, and the likely effect /r9k/ had on her mental state over the years, and then remember other people like that girl from the cyberpolice video who ended up as some kind of drug addict, and all the other "lolcows" and people doxxed on a forum / social media. It really breaks my heart.
