Or maybe you can just accept the masses as they experience in the world, and from this your treatment of them not stemming from a pride of superiority in being a smug asshole; but rather from a true compassion for all life to relieve their suffering, and a love for your people so when one is in the presence of the categorical masses, they are treated as an individual and not a mass. This was in Christ, but also in a Hitler or a Codreanu. That is to say, the Heroic, who necessarily is beyond, by his own nature any mere historic context.

Well obviously Nationalism is essential, and obviously there's dumb redneck equivalents of all nationalism. Even if one sees all problems with his nation it remains a fundamental drive and essential for the most basic things, such as poetry or art itself, or philosophy or a homogeneous group prior to all others. "Nation" is not merely today's artificial nations, it is a collective impersonal identity, like the Nation of Abraham or of Christendom.

I say that it is absolute in necessity for all good things, even if one cares not for the nation, that basic sense of care for those things which we like depends upon it. But furthermore I say it is not only a lukewarm necessity for what is good, but it is good in itself.

Funny that this was exactly what Wagner did to Schopenhauer, he made in his own words the possibility of a "turning of the misguided will" by his principles, and I believe there is nothing more needed to be said on the subject in hearing that quote of Wagner's. It explains full-well the mind of his ambitions in relation to the present Schopenhauerian system.

Furthermore I cannot help but feel that this is best fulfilled in the movement of Codreanu.
