My sometime friend, when two words almost hit,
It's called half-rhyme; example: "you" and "wit."

>spamposters who meme obscure artists into prominence while degrading well-known ones
>shitposters who have no idea what they're talking about/have bad grammar
>tripfags like butterfly and guenonposter
>critique threads without substantive criticism
>bad writers to boot
>every other thread is a shitpost
>only one or two good threads per month
>most people here are monkey monolinguals
So how do we fix /lit/? I'm in favor of implementing a test whereby one has to translate a certain passage into at least two languages in order to post here. It's getting unbearable entering almost every thread here only to encounter memes, tripfags, and bad grammar. It's got to stop.

Whom to choose? whom to choose? They had both given me their everything: one, their warm greetings in cold winter; the other, ihre Drucken when most I needed them. So how could I have picked either of them, both of whom had been my friend for as long as I could remember? The reader should be given the background of my interactions mit dieser Frauen: we had all grown up together in my father's household during the war, about which I do not care to talk. It was a devastating war that occurred by the coast, and, needless to say, the aerial bombardments made it necessary for us all to move collectively to a new neighborhood that was farther inland and would prove less of a target. We had all been neighbors and had gone to the same school together, living together in that manorial fucking household. They had been older than me and, as women naturally are inclined to do, felt a maternal affection for me that materialized itself my getting treats, hugs, and kisses from them (all innocuous, yet perhaps one could say these actions toward me precipitated my future non-Platonic affection for them). I digress: we had grown up, had grown up fondly for each other, and were each bedfellows to the other in that naïve and childish way that is innocent and ignorant of sexuality and hip-thrusting-motions.

But oh, Anna, with the dance. She danced the triptych well with me on the floor, and danced it so well that all eyes were on us as we dexterously maneuvered ourselves across the balustrades and palisades. It was gorgeous, that. My hands were firmly wrapped round her hips as we
