imo most people that think they are depressed actually aren't and should take measured steps to help themselves before swallowing meds. Most people think they are depressed because areas of their lives that are important aren't in place and they are overwhelmed about changing them.

Start small and slow, but start and make a plan for your life as you go. If you have your life sorted and you are depressed, swallow meds.

Is this the most overrated normcore book of all time?

1. Insists on moderation as a key to virtue and that you can make a habit out of it
2. Insists that pleasures are okay and that thinking is the highest pleasure.
3. Insists that everyone needs to be well adjusted, well functioning members of a community for their own happiness.

Is that really all? Why is that such a big deal? Who have written some good arguments against this book? I don't get the point of it being so influential?

Why do people still take Aristotle seriously when he don't get the difference between normative and descriptive statements?
Also, why is most metaethics really bad?
