if you read the entire response you would see that the author abandons the idea that porn addiction is like cocaine addiction and instead he calls it a natural addiction just like food and gambling.
he also abandons the idea that ΔFosB causes brain atrophy and he blurs the difference between pornography induced orgasm and intercourse induced orgasms (by saying the intercourse leads to accumulation of ΔFosB)

if we put that in the context of 4chan users, that study is not relevant and you will see that people here think pornography addiction is the reason for all of their shortcomings when in reality their entire lifestyle is a breeding ground for shortcomings. to put it simply staying at home makes you bored and your brain constantly needs stimulation so you feed it with porn, games, food, etc. but in real life sexual stimulation, the sense of adventure, the feeling of discovery, "emotional roller-coasters", etc are scarce and need effort (sometimes a lot of effort) for you to get the reward.
