Why was he such a stupid asshole? Made a whole ass person and seemed to go out of his way to make its life miserable.

Why isn't Frankenstein praised like it used to be on here?

Just finished reading this. Never read a novel in which the change of narrator made my enjoyment of the text so drastically different. I fucking HATED the Frankenstein parts, they were a fucking chore to read, so much useless text about scenery and other completely irrelevant details. On the other hand I absolutely loved the parts narrated by the Creature, it was fascinating to see something discover the word bit by bit and how cruel man can be towards those who aren't attractive. Good book overall, but fuck the Frankenstein parts bring it down.

I don't know why. The whole book was trying to show his humanity but when this happened I felt a shiver from just knowing he was out there.
