What are some must read books for the start my self improvement journey

Posting or lurking on 4chan doesnt chime well with Buddhism. Specifically it contravenes around half of the precepts of the noble 8 fold path (the logical set of conclusions as to how to live your life stemming from the 4 noble truths). Buddhism isn't Christianity. Right action, right speech, right mindfulness, right effort, right concentration are not token posts of the religion that can be cherrypicked. They are essential posts of Buddhism that are at serious odds with even lurking places like 4chan.

My point is. Take everything said about Buddhism itt with a pinch of salt as the author is a bullshit artist.
