There is something to this, I have this feature too which is a negative thing in some respects. Some or rather most, people love you automatically, others automatically resent you. Friends are shocked to discover whenever I've been single for long periods, thinking there must be something up there. Interviewers always are bewildered too whenever I approach them for a job, thinking I should do something else. The end result is very little help from others in my own life.
I think most people do not fawn over most Hollywood actors and actresses in a sexual way. The clicking is more akin to a sibling/parent/progeny relationship rather than some crude sexual attraction.
