Just read this in more or less one sitting. I really enjoyed it. I thought the plot construction was pretty flimsy at points and the characters weren't all that well fleshed out, but in the end none of that mattered because the strength of the novel lied elsewhere. Wondered what you guys thought about it in general, specifically the ending where Case is hacking something and he sees Neuromancer, Linda and himself in the distance and hears Dix's laughter. How did you guys interpret that?

Any recommendations for more in the vein of cyberpunk, post-cyberpunk, and speculative near-future science fiction? I know it's a "dead" genre, but i just finished Virtual Light, and having previously read Snow Crash and Neuromancer i want to get back into it. I really like Gibson's idea of taking all the parts of the future that are already here, and putting them together.

Are there any fans of William Gibson on here? I mistakenly bought "Idoru", and only realized once I got home that it wasn't a standalone novel, but the second novel in the bridge trilogy. Does anybody know if the bridge trilogy occurs in sequence or can you start from any book in the series and not be all confus?

Thanks ahead of time. Picture semi-related.
