Great reading of one of my favorite short ghost stories:

Any fans of the classic ghost/horror story? Weird fiction also cool. I've been listening to a lot of HorrorBabble and Edward French lately:

I thought French read The Night Wire well:

This is a longshot, but does anyone happen to know a fairly old ghost story about a man who goes on board a passenger ship, with a cabin that is known to be haunted (and avoided for that reason), but being a sceptic he asks to be given that cabin? Then, predictably, spooky shit starts happening. I can't find this fucking story for the life of me. I think there was an audio version of it. I vaguely remember a Scotsman trying to warn the sceptic protagonist against taking stupid chances. The build-up of the story involved the porthole being repeatedly and mysteriously opened, even when he thought he had sealed it shut.
