His analytic judgments of the Capitalist economy, alone, provide a radically new and clearer perspective of our society. It is very satisfying analyzing newly found dichotomies and divisions in our society (Ex. Fundamental and Subsumed Class Processes). I'm looking to reading more of his work, but from what I have read, Marx has greatly progressed Economic thought and is clearly an intellectual descendent of men like Smith and Ricardo.
