Why can’t incels see their celibacy for the good that it is? A significant other—or simply the pursuit of one—is a huge time sink. They could use their free time to better themselves by working out, reading, pursuing interests, etc. but instead complain about their virginity. Many of the most important men in history (Jesus, Newton, and many more) refused to have sex and wound up just fine. I’m pretty awkward and have never had a girlfriend. But am I going to go on the internet and complain about? No, I’m going to read interesting books, go backpacking, finish my degree, and try to become healthier. It’s time these guys stopped crowding their celibacy as a wrong perpetuated by society and start seeing it as an opportunity to become a ‘Chad’.
