I haven’t read a Spanish-language book since I started secondary school. I tried reading La Invención de Morel recently and it made me realize I only use the language to talk to family and friends.

Christianity presupposes the "divine spark of life" which is present in a fetus. It's moral worth isn't given due to it's capacity for being a thinking agent, but it's posession of an immortal soul. Secular pro-lifers will obviously argue in terms of "rational agents" because using immortal souls as reasons for ethical arguments in the 21st century is unacceptable. However most will still secretly believe the ontological significance of a fetus having a soul

Yeah ok, so maybe kids won't read the word 'nigger' in school, and maybe its use in the mainstream media will diminish, but as long as there are websites like 4chan, there is no way any institution is ever going to be capable of erasing even a single word from the public conscious.
