Writing Basics:

>Description
What is happening. What a character does. Sight, Sound, Touch, Taste, Smell. What a character thinks and feels.

>Transitional sentences/paragraphs.
Passive voice to move from one 'scene' to another whilst maintaining a narrative flow.

>Point of View
First, second and third person. Or third-limited.

How much am I missing? I'm trying to make a list of possible ways to approach writing fiction. I'm doing this because I want to narrow down what my options are so I can work within them.
