Hey /Lit/ I got started on my first fiction book and I'm about 200 pages of written prose in (about 25% of the way done from the outline). I live in LA and wanted to take advantage of this cesspools resources by joining a writer's group to get feedback and possibly get in touch with an agent. Does anyone have experience with a writing group, especially in the LA area?

Does anyone else know this feel? Shit, all the masters give impressions of having swallowed libraries, and here I am post-college taking weeks to finish one big book.

I am very devout to my Lord Jesus, because if it were not for His death on the cross I would still be required to observe all those mitzvot and to slaughter animals in the Temple of Jerusalem to obtain salvation. I lost my grammar books, Kafka, Kant and a copy of The Republic and I never found them again in any library. It sucks. To make things worse, I listen to Megadeth now and it sounds like fucking shit. Black Sabbath is ok though.
