Why does everyone only ever talk about the first book, and only the madeleine scene, which is very early on, at that? I've never heard anyone comment on anything else from the first book, let alone the rest of the novels. Do people only ever read the first volume and leave it at that, and repeat the madeleine scene just because everybody always says it's the most memorable?
