I missed out on teenage romance and still got my first gf at 22. I literally started gaining relationship experience from day one despite never having been in one before. This idea that if you don't experience adolescent sex you'll turn into a disfunctional hopeless weirdo for the rest of your life is utterly senseless and retarded. In fact, thinking like this might be a sign that you have a bigger problem with yourself that doesn't really have to do with virginity or lack of experience. I think you just hate yourself and use this as a reason to validate your poor self-concept. You can always change this, but it takes work and it's easier to just dwell on your own misery.

Do I regret not getting a gf in my teens? Yes, of course I fucking do. But what can I do? There's no point in dwelling in a past that I can't fucking change. Blackpilling crap will never get you anywhere, and there's always hope. Don't bring yourself down and start working to improve.

I cannot understand the motive of people who virilently hate Peterson. You might disagree with his politics, okay but that is not nearly the most important part of his work. I find it hard to find actual criticism of his advice for personal development and his psychological work.

My only two conclusions are that there are two groups who actively hate him. Ideologues who see his quite basic conservatism as fascism or being a cuck and people whose own life is shamed by his call to action.

I always thought Ivan would be the most relatable for people who go on 4chan. Dimitri's too outgoing/chadlike, while Alyosha's naivety and optimism would be cut to shreds on a board like this. Ivan's particular brand of arrogance and abrasive intellect would have him feeling right at home here, as would the genuine desire to open himself to views seemingly contrary to his own (ie the meeting with Father Zosima). Throw all that in with loving a girl he will probably never get and some mental health problems and you've got a fair amount of people who frequent this board. Dimitri's most relatable characteristic is his inability to control his baseness which he knows isn't good for him, but that's all that the relatability is, just a characteristic, not relatable (to this board at least) past that one characteristic.

I don't see this as a problem. I'm in the same boat as you, majored in mathematics but enjoy literature and art as much as, and sometimes more than maths. Like me you obviously enjoyed the pure logical side of stem, and for me it's good to have an outlet for that. It's classic grass is greener mentality, I'm sure you'd be bemoaning the lack of science in your life if you were an arts major (although knowing some arts majors that may not be the case). Why not pursue writing in your spare time? William Carlos Williams wrote poetry while working as a doctor, and DFW was pretty interested in mathematics (although not as well studied as many of his fans make him out to be I think). Why limit yourself to one thing?
