Hello friends. I started with the Greeks like you memed me into, but i got filtered by Parmenides's poem. Could somone explain what he is tryinng to convey? I would really appreciate your help as I consider many of you to be quite knowleageable when it comes to philiosophy. I am sorry for any/spelling/grammar mistakes as I just have started to learn English.

the world has problems, material and spiritual. they mainly stem from high finance and manifests itself in the form of usery, war, and enslavement to capital.

i am a zoomer so I am still plagued with naive hopes of overthrowing the current power structure, while others who are more mature than I have made peace with the system as it is too large, and attempting to destroy it would cause more misery and suffering than if we were to accept it.

I am haunted everyday by this problem, I do not see things getting better and I do not want future generations to have it worse off than I do.
