Gross. I can empathize, in a way. I've always been fascinated with gore and viscera; the insides of human beings. The inside of anything really. What it looks like, how it works, what's realistic. This has lead to some taboo areas. After watching a Serbian Film as a teen, the sexual side of it is gone but there is still this yearning. I watch gore all the time, usually in public or at work. Just incidentally, if it's what I feel like doing I do it. But my girlfriend is a nurse. I thought I was hardcore but the shit she tells me is truly vile. Like stage 3 pressure ulcer the size of a slice of wonderbread on your tailbone. When things are dead I could give a fuck, but when they're alive it's just revolting on a primal level to watch people suffer. I cant do it. I think that's the key, seperating reality from what you imagine or consume. When you get wrapped in the fetish is when it gets inescapable, but thats your own doing.
