>People actually use "His-story" unironically
Women were included just as much as men when it came to political history, we only see such a prevalence of males in lots of history because universally war has been led and fought by men.

If they even read the Illiad, they would see that women were the political schemers of many western societies and dominated the household, despite "muh patriarchy"

Might as well say it's not History, but "Rich powerful and/or murderous"

/his/tory general
I've been focusing most of my history reading on the Roman Empire/Republic or World War 2 for most of my life, but I want to expand my history knowledge
I'm looking for some good books detailing Medieval Europe or Medieval middle waste, and would like some works for someone who has a general/bare knowledge of both.
Crusades would also be fine.

Any suggestions?
