My personal blight is that I believe in the Divine, but not in any religion's interpretation of what it is. It's not even a belief, more like knowledge beyond doubt. I know that the universe itself is an expression of a transcendental order, but that doesn't mean that I have to pick between any human religion. This is my major problem with all theist philosophers, they all argue in favour of the existence of a creator in a general sense, but somehow take that to mean that they're personal god is real, but not others' personal gods, it's so biased and dishonet.

I think most of his talks are fantastic, a minority of them are meaningless and can not ever be applied to your life in a meaningful way.

I’m looking for readings about the morality of sex, specifically about the beliefs surrounding abstinence and casual sex. I am struggling to see what I really believe, as logically I think sex outside a loving relationship, with the goal of a family in the future, is just plain hedonistic and indulging in animalistic desire. However I can’t help the natural urges and I have opportunities for casual sex which I find hard to resist, and they test my moral will. Any thoughts on this? What do you practice? Any recs are appreciated.

Because I realized I'd rather kill myself, than WORK in that field. I worked for some time as a software dev, and it was so fucking miserable and horrific, that it killed all my interest in the field all together. However, that led to the best purchase of my life: Kindle Paperwhite, and non-stop reading in my NEETdom. I don't regret it. Probably gonna go for another major, humanities this time for fucking sure. Fun thing, I almost got into Linguistics Masters program, I was a couple of points short from getting enlisted. I was the only one from STEM to apply for Linguistics exams. And I did better than some people who have bachelors in that field. So I just got into CE Masters, looted some scholarships, and dropped out, kek.
