/lit/ - Literature

I know I'm going to get hate for this, but does anyone know any good Star Wars novels? Ideally stuff that doesn't connect to the movies or plays off of existing characters. I've already tried most of the novels that tie into the KotOR stuff, so I know that. But is there anything else? I don't want to go back to read about Luke and Thrawn and shit, and I also don't want stuff that "technically" takes place in Star Wars universe but has nothing to do with the Force or the Jedi/Sith. Is there any series that's a new timeline in the same way KotOR was? Again, it can even be fanfic if it's good, canon means nothing to me.
