It is basically impossible to narrow it down. Still, here goes:

>W.B. Yeats
>T.S. Eliot
>Alfred, Lord Tennyson

I once worked in an asylum for the mentally ill and deranged. Each one of them is capable of such subversions.

You give yourself far too much credit - far too much. To deconstruct an art form, one must understand it.

The best experimental deconstructionists of poetry are the great poets themselves.

I started with the Yeats portion of the anthology, "Major British Writers, Vol. II." It has a small collection of his poems complete with expert commentary (and can be purchased for a few dollars on Amazon).

However, you could also simply go to Bartleby, Gutenberg, or Poetry foundation, read a lot of his poetry, and analyze it yourself.

At some point, you should read his work Rosa Alchemica, but only after you're familiar with his poems.

Not bad - keep at it.

I think the "Her.." portion and the "My blood..." portions could benefit from being a little more rhythmic, not in the sense of rhyme, but of meter.

Do you read poetry often?

I would suggest it, if you do not.

Anyway, I like the imagery you're playing with here, and the symbolic implications of the color red, but I think you could possibly take it further - if not in this poem then in future ones.

Conceptualize Woman, play more with the idea of what a muse is, and those kinds of things.

If you can explore your themes through symbols and their implications while still expressing yourself truly - that, to me, is great poetry.
