It's not pleasure. Pleasure is just another base biological determination. It is much more spiritual, much more ethereal. There is something inside us that is trying to get out. Don't you understand? Don't you see? Why does our world descend into more and more inhumanity, more and more slavery, technology always accelerating, bombs only growing larger, bombs only becoming more and more subtle. Why? Aren't we the ones in control? If Nature is having a big family with a wheatfield in evropa, why isn't that what we have? How can something be contrary to its own nature?

Have you ever seen Space Odyssey 2001? You know the monolith? Even if people know the monolith is "bad for them" - they cannot help but investigate it. They cannot help but try to understand it. No matter what, they simply cannot ignore it. And that is their true nature.

There is something deeper than "human" inside us. Is it the soul? Will to Power? The Dao? Who knows, but it sure is something, and if you think you can stop it, you are mistaken.

The conservative's only function is not to go back, or stop progress, it is to stop us from going to fast and destroying ourselves.
