I'M ALMOST DONE WITH THE INFERNO OH MY GOD! One of the absolute most tedious books I've ever read. It may just be the John Ciardi translation, maybe I should have read the Stanley Lombardo translation, as he makes everything readable and phonetically beautiful. But oh my god, I am so tired of this book right now, I can't wait for it to be over. I don't 100% hate it, that would be unfair, but it's just so tedious and makes so many fucking references to things which I have no idea what it's talking about. Also fuck Catholicism, everything this book represents is horribly backwards dogmatic crap.
