>FTM lit is so much fucking better than MTF lit. every interaction between two characters in "Detransition, Baby" is like something from a bdsm scene and the prose is exceedingly childish. "The Discomfort of Evening" has beutiful prose and relentlessly forces the reader to comfront the grotesque aspects of human nature. both are digusting but one is disgusting on purpose and that's all the difference in the world.
I agree with this and recommend Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z. Brite. Her depictions of the human body and the perversion of her characters reflects what she became. I feel badly for her husband.
