desu, that's the beauty of the approach, coming across as "low hanging fruit." A lot of people think it's easy to debunk "redpilled" claims. For example: intelligence is largely heritable, immigration is anathema for the working class, race (in the broad sense) is real, Jews receive preferential treatment in university admissions (even taking into account merit), etc. When I prove them wrong with extensive data and reasoning, their heads explode. It makes the notches on the bedside all the more satisfying—I'd like to imagine that my defeated, enraged interlocutor is carving some "notches" into his own arm at the same time.

Murray has a PhD in political science from MI-fucking-T and has conducted public policy research for decades. Herrnstein was faculty at Harvard University for decades, founded a field of mathematical psychology, and served as an advisor to the Oval Office on public policy.You're not going to refute The Bell Curve book with just the toolset of "graduate level" statistics lmfao.

These guys have been doing this shit their entire lives at a caliber that probably nobody on /lit/ is able to match. Funnily enough, almost every critique of the book is philosophical at best and ideology-based paranoia at worst.

Irrelevant. The only bad statistician in this case was Gould because he applied "corrections" to Morton's measurements which had no basis in reality. When a graduate student took the skulls out and re-measured them, it turns out that Morton was right and Gould had been peddling a fraud in service of progressive ideology.
