Where?
Seriously, who did that and when?
If you mean

then re-read it, pal. I was pointing out that monarchies can't be 'universally refuted' because plenty still exist.
Try to keep up.
And where would YOU rather have been a citizen for the last 25 years - Saudi or Egypt? Jordan or Syria? Swaziland or Zimbabwe? Thailand or Vietnam?
Saying
>"Well, that monarchy isn't *perfect*"
refutes nothing

You asked 2 questions, so let me split them:
>Why does everyone want to adapt this book to film
Because they think it will be artistically and financially successful

>and always fail miserably?
Because Dune is a poorly-written mess of a book that can't survive exposure to a competent screenwriter

You mean like John "Kasimir Urbanski/RPGPundit" Tarnowski?
The dude that writes really popular articles about how occultism works, and how he's a wizard, and how to cast spells who, at the end of the day, lives in Uruguay so he can use the exchange rate/cost of living to eke out a pitiful existence on the meagre income he generates selling knock-off Dungeons and Dragons books online?!
Or Alan Moore, the comic book writer and "magician"? Ir the other guys who all claim to be "magicians" and make a living writing comic books?
Are those they guys that can tell us all about the 'secret histories'?

>The only university courses that were "English classes" covering those things were for international students who had a poor grasp of English.
LOL!
So you are completely unaware that Master's programs in English can not only *include* rhetoric, composition, and writing but may focus on that with Literature as electives?
Hilarious!
I did a google search and it took me moments to find dozens of programs like the one I am in.
Here, just look at this outline:
http://www.middlebury.edu/blse/academics/m.a..
See?
Classes must include writing, pedagogy, and theatre arts.
Here's another
http://www.lasalle.edu/master-english/curriculum-literary/
Included?
Critical and pedagogical theory, composition and rhetoric, creative writing,
Indeed, as I look around I cannot find a Master's program that does NOT require non-Literature courses?
Hmmmm.
It is almost as if you have no idea what you are talking about.

>Atlas Shrugged is an important work.
>she presents many ideas and concepts in Atlas Shrugged which are so important to society
Like what?
>Communism is bad
Well known at the time and much better explained in actual philosophy and well-writen literature
>Altruism is bad
She was wrong
>Only a handful of people keep the world running
Nope, she was wrong again
.
we could go on, but she was correct about 1 thing and thousands of others wrote about it coherently.
