Best books on writing?

How do I start meaningfully channeling my emotions into writing and or art? Is artherapy useful in this sense if you are a grown up and not completely retarded?
Anyone got good resources on this

Also how do I relief people of the pain?

My mental health, physical health, and spiritual health are all suffering as of late. I don’t read much, but I do read when I can. Are there any books any of you /lit/izens would recommend me to help me fix and or work on getting these things under control?

Schopenhauer was a legitimate genius, and not in an autistic Kant way. Almost done with World as Will and Representation and it's changed the way I view the world.

The problem is I get so excited by the concepts in it I put down the book every 20 minutes to think about the implications.

By understanding that even if all the problems you identify in modern society were resolved, the next generation would resist the very traditions that allowed this ideal society to come about. They would change things, in an attempt to solve the problems THEY identify. By solving these problems new problems would occur, and their children would seek to solve these, at this point the civilization doesn't resemble the original one at all. This has occurred and will occur and infinite amount of times.
